Botanica X was founded as a hub for new music, sound composition, NeoDarkGlamAmbient mixes, video and interdisciplinary art projects.


All works are produced by Charles Edward Fambro. Yale University.

Projects include the 10-channel sound installation "Alien Stingers," composed for the New York Aquarium and commissioned by the World Wildlife Fund, and the live sound installation for "Medicine," by Simone Leigh, part of Creative Time's Black Radical Brooklyn Project. Recent commissions include the soundtracks for "Mystic Parallax: Visual Manifesto," and "Bird Talk, Time I Danced for the Moon," two short films by Awol Erizku, and the soundtrack for "Dig Up," by Yoko Inoue, for the Future Foods Symposium; and the music for the video of "The Hill We Climb," by Amanda Gorman for TIME. Charles also founded and developed the "teaching ecology," for the Cooper Union School of Art Saturday Program’s Sound Composition class. He has numerous releases on the Delhf and BotanicaX labels.
